CD Cover Assignment by LeoLeonardo CD Cover Assignment by LeoLeonardo
Update --> Added a watermark to it, just in case. ;)

Have been quite inactive lately, and though I should upload something to prove I'm still alive and kicking. :P

Got an assignment at Uni to design a CD cover, and I chose to redisign the cover for Daft Punk's recent album, Alive 2007.

I wanted to try out some techniques I found in a tutorial, and I really like how it came out.

I might even make a print of it and replace the real cover with this one I made. :P

I know there's a spelling misstake in there, but I'm too tired to fix it right now. :noes:

The original document for this ended up at an UNBELIEVABLE size: 926 MB (!!) at the size of 250x125 cm, or approximately 7087x3543 pixels!

EDIT: lol, no wonder it ended up so big... 250 cm is 2 and a half meter! I missread the assignment, the size was supposed to be 250 mm...

Haha, well, at least I got an INCREDIBLY high resolution CD cover in my portfolio now. =P END OF EDIT

Just so you guys know, there are new emotes comming soon, I'm just really busy with various other things. Hope you enjoy this in the meantime. :)

What font did you use for the tracklist on the left?

(and what is the tutorial? :p )
LeoLeonardo Featured By Owner Dec 4, 2008
I used Algerian for the numbers and Calisto MT for the track-titles. I'm pretty sure they're both standard fonts, but I could be wrong. :noes:
