<edit> I changed the upwards pan a little, to make the blur look smoother at the end, and also added a bit more of a sense of gravity to the very end of the fall, so now it's basically as good as I wanted it to be. </edit>
Let me just tell you, making this was a lot harder than I thought it would be.
Anyways, so blue guy walks up to the edge of a building, looks down, sees pink girl, does a sort-of backwards fall off the building, tumbling into a backwards flip, takes controll of the spin, pulls parachute cord. Parachute slows descent, blue guy quickly cuts cords, before he's smashed againsts the building, grabs hold of the building wall, also stabing the knife in there to get better grip. Doesn't waste a second, plunges off building again, and finally glomps the pink one.
I hope it's clear enough to see that it's a glomp, at least.
I like most of it, except the very half-arsed backpack and parachute (+ the cutting of the cords).
But oh well.
I'll let you all be the final judge on if it sucks or not.

And I see the Categories have been updated. I guess that explains why DA has been slow lately.
I agree, the upwards "zoom" came out kinda... sloppy... and the end of the fall, where the actual glomp takes place, does indeed need more gravitational pull. But there is a sort of "give" when he lands, it might not be apparent enough though. I'll see about revising these points, thanks a lot for the feedback!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
