I stumbled upon this music video a few minutes ago, and I found it amazingly beautiful and inspiring. It's a tribute to Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking, two of the undoubtedly most brilliant people ever.

Ok, boys and girls, the Emote Get Away Contest has now officially ended!

The deadline was 5 days ago, on Sunday the 20th, but I haven't had time to write a proper journal for it until just now.

I'm currently sorting through all the entries we received and I will be contacting the judges very soon. Expect to see a journal presenting the winners of the competition any time now.

You might be wondering where the hell I am these days. I'm definitely not very active on DA right now, that's for sure.

The best way to explain it all is that I'm experiencing a sort of downtime for feeling like doing anything at all these days. I'm sitting in class right now, being bored cause we never get around to doing anything it feels.

The most honest way of explaining my away time, however, is that I'm spending a lot of time trying to hang out with my friends whenever I have the time and when I'm not doing that, I'm playing games, both on my PC and on my 360.

On 360? I picked up Batman: Arkham Asylum, and it's awesome.

On PC? Well...




I found a really amazingly funny Java game called Minecraft that I've been spending a lot of time with. It's build on this really simple idea that you get a world, and you can build anything in it. Everything is based on different blocks that you can place anywhere in basically any color, so it's sort of like building a huge world with Lego bricks.

I suggest you give it a try, it's a lof of fun. You can play Single Player by just starting the game, but you need to register (takes like 10 seconds) to play Multi Player. There are also custom clients you can use to connect, but they're not required.

It's incredibly addictive and me and my friend ~RumpNissen have our own server up and running where we've built some awesome stuff so far.

Our server is set to Private, but that just means it doesn't show up on the official server list, anyone can still connect to it if they have the right address.

Lastly, the contest.

It's still on, and the end date is still September 20th, so I suggest anyone planning to make an entry should get started, there's only 10 days left.
