Hello everyone, and welcome back to the contest! Things are really heating up now, and I've added a lot of new information for mine and ~SuperSmileys competition. Among other things, we have ^CookiemagiK as a new judge in the contest, I've extended the deadline for you all, and we have a nice list of prizes growing!

^CookiemagiK pointed out that the deadline was a little too soon, and I have to say I agree completely, thus I'm extending it a bit so you all have more time to participate!

A new contest for your enjoyment!

Hey, boys and girls, here's something to bite your teeth into:

~SuperSmiley is hosting an exciting new Emoticon Contest entitled:

Emote Get Away Contest

Basically, what's being asked of you here is to make an emoticon that is "getting away" in a sense from the hustle and bustle of every day life. It could mean relaxing on some far away tropical island, sailing through the Caribbean on some luxurious cruise ship, fishing for icebergs in the Arctic, hitching a ride through <insert country or continent here>, digging a hole in the ground deep enough to not be bothered any more...

I say: Let your imagination run free here.

Oh, and apparently, I'm a judge.

Some Rules!

1. - Your entry needs to be animated!
2. - The entry you make needs to be a new emoticon, made especially for the contest.
3. - The deadline for the contest is the 20th of September!

As of right now, you can contact either ~SuperSmiley or me if you want to participate.

Also, if you want to be all cool and popular and stuff, you should pimp the contest in your own journal or something.

Yes, ofcourse, prizes!

As of right now, I'm trying to scrounge up a nice set of prizes for the eventual participants in the contest, but as of right now, I can at least promise a good feature in my journal and some free requests for the winner(s), and I'm sure ~SuperSmiley can as well.

I'll update this when I have some more info about prizes and other things to share.
